Project / Contracts Manager required for a leading supplier of industrial measurement, testing and automation systems to the global Packaging, Aerospace and Medical Device industries. Based in Telford, Shropshire, offering a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 p.a. plus benefits.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager the successful Project / Contracts Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating customer projects from receipt of order to final delivery.

The role will require:

* Direct customer liaison to determine the specific requirements of each project.
* To provide technical and commercial proposals.
* To collate and distribute the necessary project and scheduling information.
* To co-ordinate each contract internally with our various engineering departments.

Preference will be given to applicants with a background in metrology and a suitable engineering qualification to ONC / HNC level.

The position will be based in the Telford facility and may require occasional travel both in UK and overseas. Detailed product and internal quality systems training will be provided.
